Keira Knightley seems to have a thing for dressing up; or is it just period pieces? Either way, the 'surprisingly still hot while super skinny' actress is ready to throw on some royalty with The Duchess, a film by director Saul Dibb.

Keira Knightley will play the 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, duchess of Devonshire.
An ancestor of Princess Di, she lived an extravagant, profligate and promiscuous life of political and romantic intrigue, becoming an important powerbroker amid Blighty's ruling elite but also running up catastrophic gambling debts. She was alternately feted and reviled, and widely caricatured by the popular press.
Saul Dibb will direct off a script by Jeffrey Hatcher, who adapted Amanda Foreman's best-selling biography of the controversial bluebood.
Pathe will handle the distribution of the film.
The Duchess is set to enter production this October.
