Jack Black continues to pick up projects with the
latest being The Lost Adventures of Stone Perlmutter Jr.
Jack Black is Stone Perlmutter Jr.
Universal has picked up Jack Black to star in and
produce The Lost Adventures of Stone Perlmutter Jr., a
film that should give him plenty of room to be er, himself.
Written by scribes Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory, The Lost Adventures
of Stone Perlmutter Jr. is described as a faux documentary made
from recently "discovered" footage from 1979 chronicling the disastrous
journey of a self-styled Indiana Jones-type adventurer who traveled the
world trying to find the Yeti, El Dorado, the lost tomb of Jesus and other
great mysteries.
Black will play Perlmutter as he produces under his Universal-based banner,
Electric Dynamite.
Huyck and Gregory began their career as writers
for Late Show With David Letterman before going on to The Larry
Sanders Show.
