Warner Bros. has released four new TV spots for the Daniel Craig / Nicole Kidman thriller, The
Invasion.
TV Spots: The Invasion
The Invasion tells the story of
a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a Washington
D.C. psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) discovers the epidemic's origins are extraterrestrial,
she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping the
escalating invasion.
Since I am a fan of both Kidman and Craig -- a pair I'm looking forward to seeing in The Golden Compass -- I am hoping that The Invasion turns out to be a worthy remake. The cast is definitely there, but I still can't make an honest impression on the story from the trailers.
The TV spots do show some new footage, but it turns out that four of them is still not enough to convince me that this film is a 'must see.'
