Renee Zellweger
Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen have found some eye candy with the addition of Renee Zellweger to the Western drama Appaloosa.
Zellweger for Appaloosa
Ed Harris will direct Appaloosa from a screenplay he wrote with Robert Knott. New Line, who has to be appreciating the film's strong cast, will distribute.
Based on Robert B. Parker's novel of the same name, Appaloosa centered on a pair of friends hired to protect a lawless town suffering at the hands of a renegade rancher. The arrival of an attractive widow disrupts their plans.
The book is the second Western penned by Parker, with his first being Gunman's Rhapsody, a fictional take on Wyatt Earp.
