Jennifer Connelly
New Line is making ground with He's Just Not That Into You, an adaptation of one of my most-hated books. I've dated more than a couple women who not only read the satanic book, but then tried to make conclusions on our very own relationship based on it. The only thing I've learned from it is that I'm somehow just not that into each person I was dating.
Or, that's at least what the book made them think. See what I mean by satanic?
Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin for He's Just Not That Into You
Though I hate the idea of the film, I have to admit that I like the thought of Jennifer Connelly looking to possibly rebound out of her marriage. Connelly is in final negotiations to star in He's Just Not That Into You along with Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin. He's Just Not That Into You is based in Baltimore and will center on interconnecting story arcs deals with the challenges of reading or misreading human behavior. Jennifer Connelly plays a woman stuck in a tired marriage with Cooper's character. Kevin Connolly, meanwhile, is a man pining after a woman, still not cast, who is having an affair with Cooper.
Goodwin is a young woman obsessed with Kevin Connolly's character who tries to set up accidental meetings with him only to run across his friend, played by Long, who takes her on as a "My Fair Lady" experiment.
Drew Barrymore, who is already onboard to star, plays a woman perpetually confused by dating, now more than ever in a culture that is more obsessed with technology than actual human contact.
We last saw Connelly in Blood Diamond. Long made a summer appearance with Live Free or Die Hard and Kevin Connolly makes frequent appearances Sunday on HBO thanks to the hit series Entourage.
He's Just Not That Into You will enter production this September in Los Angeles.
