Even with two films still due out this year, Nicole Kidman has been picking up projects left and right including the horror remake, Al final del espectro.
Nicole Kidman for Al final del espectro
Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to remake the Colombian horror film Al final del espectro, and will develop the project as a starring and production vehicle for Nicole Kidman.
Juan Felipe Orozco, who helmed the original, is attached to direct the remake off a script by Fernley Phillips (The Number 23).
Kidman will play a woman who, after a tragedy, is encouraged by her father to take refuge in a fancy apartment building. She becomes a shut-in, and begins to see a ghost.
Well, at least she has company.
Kidman will team with Vertigo Entertainment to produce through her Blossom Films banner.
Kidman is currently working with Hugh Jackman on the Baz Luhrmann-directed epic Australia for Fox. She can next be seen battling aliens in The Invasion and witches in The Golden Compass.
