Balls of Fury
With a ping pong table in my family room -- right next to the Guitar Hero II stage -- I like to think I know most of the tricks to the er, sport. I am the master of slam, but the backhand punch does look useful, as shown in this latest training video in Balls
of Fury.
Balls of Fury Training Clips
Easier said than done, that's all I got to say about this training video. If your opponent really does fall out of position by the length of a table, it can only mean that he slammed one impossibly hard at you. If it is coming that fast, as a defender, you are more concerned with recovery and return rather than placement.
You never know, there is still a 50-50 that you will return the ball to the open side of the table anyway.
Besides teaching us the "backhand punch", we do get to see a few brief clips from Balls of Fury. To my enjoyment, the majority feature Maggie Q.
I got a suggestion for the next training video:
"How to get with Maggie Q"
I guarantee it will be watched... repeatedly.
