Rosario Dawson
DreamWorks recently sat down and looked at the callsheet for Eagle Eye and decided that, for a film with Eye in the title, there just wasn't enough eye candy.
Rosario Dawson for Eagle Eye (Candy)
The D.J. Caruso-directed thriller got a new addition with Rosario Dawson. Dawson will join Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan, both of whom have only signed on this summer.
LaBeouf and Monaghan play characters who form an unlikely alliance after they're framed as terrorists and become members of a cell that plans to carry out a political assassination. Dawson plays a young government agent hot on their tail. Pic begins production this fall.
Hillary Seitz wrote the most recent script, with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci onboard to produce.
Paramount will handle distribution of Eagle Eye.
All three actors have projects coming our way. Monaghan can be seen hooking up with Ben Stiller in The Heartbreak Kid while Shia is working next to Harrison Ford and George Lucas for Indiana Jones IV.
Dawson has recently wrapped Killshot and is now prepping for Sin City 2.
