Not to put myself out there, but if there was a Scorpion King sequel coming with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson involved, I would be interested. Don't get me wrong, the first film was far from epic, but it was hard to follow Johnson around and not have a great time.
Unfortunately for me, the good people at Moviehole report that The Scorpion King: Rise of the Akkadian will be Rock-less.

Casting is underway on “The Scorpion King: Rise of the Akkadian”, a Dwayne Johnson-less sequel to the “Mummy Returns” spin-off.
Produced by Patti Jackson and Lisa Gooding, and directed by Russell Mulcahy (“Highlander”), the film will tell the backstory of the Polynesian warrior and his relationship with long time love Layla.
The film, set to start shooting in South Africa on October 1, is on the lookout for an actor to fill the Rock’s shoes. As the sides say “There is no requirement to look exactly like a young Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, but we still need an EXOTIC QUALITY...
No Rock for Scorpion King? I'm not interested. Wait, wait, there is hope.
Please, for the love of God, tell me that Kelly Hu (pictured above) will be returning.
