Though already filming in the U.K., the cast continues to grow for The Young Victoria. The latest additions come as Paul Bettany and Thomas Kretschmann.
Paul Bettany for The Young Victoria
Emily Blunt, who plays the title role, and Rupert Friend, the character's husband Albert, are already on set, filming The Young Victoria. Thomas Kretschmann has been cast as Belgian King Leopold. Bettany will play Lord Melbourne, Queen Victoria's most trusted advisor.
The film is being directed by Jean-Marc Vallee off a script by Julian Fellowes. The Young Victoria follows Victoria's turbulent rise to power and her enduring romance with Prince Albert.
Miranda Richardson, Jim Broadbent and Mark Strong also star.
Bettany can next be seen in Inkheart for New Line, while Kretschmann stars in Wanted and Valkyrie.
