Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell, who most still know as Veronica Mars, has jumped ship to test her powers on NBC's Heroes.
Kristen Bell Joins Heroes
NBC has picked up Bell to play a multiepisode arc for Heroes' second season. With a new film under the belt -- Apatow's Forgetting Sarah Marshall -- Bell has been competitively sought after for many big tube series including Lost.
Bell will make her first “Heroes” appearance in October. She’ll play Elle, a character described as a sexy, mysterious young lady who has ties to the supposed death of Peter, H.R.G.’s past and the future of Claire.
Wow, does 'multiepisode' mean entire season? Elle will kick of her Heroes career by committing a serious crime, though it will remain unclear on whether she is good or bad. I already prefer to think of the character as naughty.
“This was not easy to pull off,” said Heroes creator-exec producer Tim Kring. “But since we’re an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Bell’s) schedule.”
Bell, who was last seen in theaters with Pulse, has a few movie gigs coming our way including TWC's Fanboys and Fox's animated feature Sheepish.
Not wanting to drift too far from the medium that launched her career, Bell will also voice the narrator for CW's new drama Gossip Girl.
