Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been picked up by Walt Disney Pictures to star in Witch Mountain.

An extension to Disney's Escape to Witch Mountain, released in 1975, Witch Mountain will feature The Rock as a Las Vegas cab driver who picks up a pair of siblings with magical powers.
Andy Fickman will direct off a script by Matt Lopez.
Johnson has recently become close to Disney thanks to the family comedy The Game Plan.
Johnson will next star beside Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway in Get Smart.
Production on Witch Mountain will begin next March.
