Renee Zellweger
Though busy with other projects, Renee Zellweger is looking to make time to co-star with Harry Connick Jr. in the fish-out-of-water comedy Chilled in Miami.
Renee Zellweger, Harry Connick Jr. for Chilled in Miami
Written by Ken Rance and C. Jay Cox, Chilled in Miami centers on a Miami businesswoman who's transferred to the sticks of Minnesota.
The project, looking to target women and teeny-boppers, was originally titled 32 and Single while set up at Universal Pictures. Thank God they changed this title.
Jonas Elmer, who hasn't been behind a camera since the 2005 comedy Nynne, will direct.
Before Renee Zellweger can begin working on Chilled in Miami, she must complete New Line Cinema's Ed Harris-helmed Western Appaloosa, where she will star opposite Viggo Mortensen.
Harry Connick Jr. most recently appeared onscreen in the (troubling) Lionsgate thriller Bug.
Production on Chilled in Miami is expected to begin January in Miami and Winnipeg.
