First time in the history of CanMag, I had to dig through old films before finding the new replacements for the CanMag Top Ten. A slow summer (for us) looks to be carrying over into the fall.
Top Ten Updated to a Weak Fall Start
With the removal of three films we now have Sweeney Todd, I Am Legend and Southland Tales on the list. Here is the list as it was in June:
I look at this list and I just want to throw up on my keyboard -- these numbers could be lower than last year. What's up, the films not up to caliber?
The big three additions each have their reasons. We reset the view count on Southland Tales before we had the new release and the two new posters for the film helped re-boost it back into position. I Am Legend owes its popularity to some early set pics and a single trailer. Sweeney Todd immediately jumped up in popularity with the release of its badass poster (previewed above).
