We have already been told that the first trailer for Indiana
Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will appear some time near Thanksgiving. Some of you could have immediately taken that hint, looked through Paramount's list of fall releases and picked up that Beowulf's November 16th release would be a fitting time for the Indy IV trailer. It would have been a great guess and, if the latest rumor is true, the correct one.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Trailer with Beowulf?
The good people at AICN have been told (by an inside source) that the first trailer for Indiana Jones IV will in fact arrive with the theatrical release of Beowulf.
Sure, that's a pretty obvious target... it's a big Paramount movie and Lucas dropped a hint earlier in the year saying the first trailer would hit around Thanksgiving... but rumor also has it that John Williams is currently working on the music for the trailer... New John Williams INDIANA JONES music... or a new arrangement of old John Williams INDIANA JONES music...
We have not been told if the trailer will feature actual footage from the film or just serve as a simple teaser. If they don't have any new footage in store, a nice compilation of footage from the past three films would be enough to stir up some hype.
