Heroes is a superhero show, but even the intellectual Mohinder Soresh got in on some of the action. With the added responsibilities of protecting Molly Walker, Sendhil Ramamurthy has an all new side of Mohinder to play this year.
Ramamurthy's Soresh Still Involved in Heroes: Generations
"As far as my character goes, he's grown a really big set of balls," said Ramamurthy. "It really does take off, he becomes even more butcher. You're going to see a butcher Mohinder. There are tank tops involved."
Mo is an emotional roller coaster this year too. "Listen, he's more or less got a little kid now. He's got Molly Walker to deal with, a little blonde girl that kind of popped up out of nowhere. Listen, he's got a lot on his plate right now. He's got a lot to balance. So far, in these first three episodes that we have, it's really interesting seeing him juggle everything."
With new characters joining the cast, Ramamurthy has already worked with some new actors. "I am working right now with Stephen Tobolowski who's joined the cast who is awesome. I've been told that I'm working with somebody else new coming up really soon but they won't tell me who. Stephen Tobolowski and I have a fairly antagonistic relationship. I think I can leave it at that."
The pressure is on for the Heroes crew to top themselves, and even the actors feel it. "I'm just happy to be back this year first of all. The atmosphere on set is good. We all know that there's a serious challenge ahead of us. We set the bar really high in the first season and we've got to follow it up. We have the first three episodes right now. We're in the middle of the third episode. So far, I don't think we're going to disappoint. There's really great stuff coming up. There are relationships building between people that I certainly never would have thought there would be relationships between. There's kind of a whole new beginning for every character. So everybody is starting from a whole new place almost. I think that was a smart thing for the writers to do because you don't have to necessarily know everything that went on in the first season. You can pick up the second season and go."
