Libby Returns
Though audiences watched Michael put a slug or two into Libby during the second season of LOST, the show's creators have recently confirmed that the character will be making a return for Season 4.
Libby Returns to LOST
Cynthia Watros' short-lived Libby will be making a return to LOST, as confirmed by TV Guide. No, she is not coming back from the dead, but LOST does offer plenty of opportunities for cast that have died to come back for multi-episode arcs.
LOST executive producer Carlton Cuse had this to say on the return of Libby:
"She'll be in enough of the show for us to fill in the missing pieces of her story," says Cuse. "We could not be more pleased. Cynthia is a smart and engaging actor, and [executive producer] Damon [Lindelof] and I have some very cool parts of her story left to tell."
Libby's oncoming death was easy to pickup considering that it was announced that Cynthia would be starring in her own pilot. The pilot, The Rich Inner Life of Penelope Cloud, did not fare so well, didn't get picked up, and left Cynthia with enough time to come back as Libby.
