Here I am again, ready to put a foot in my mouth -- but whose I wonder? I appreciated Alien for starting the franchise, but find that Aliens is not only the most awesome, but really the only one worth watching over and over and over... and over. I was pretty excited for the first AVP, but got cheesed out by the film's first trailer. Hell, I didn't even see it in theaters.
When it was announced there would be a sequel I could only ask why and, to my surprise, found only one plausible reason: Fox wants to get this franchise right. Are we open for second chances? Well, Fox most certainly needs one, as they have failed repeatedly to start strong franchises, and who couldn't use more crazy sci-fi action?
With that comes
Alien vs Predator - Requiem, a film that has (surprisingly) impressed me with every media update to date. And look at me... still talking shit.
Movie Poster: AVP Requiem
The good people at Joblo have got their mitts on the first poster for AVP 2, Alien vs Predator - Requiem, AVP R or whatever else the kids are calling this film nowadays.
Like all of the updates before it, the poster is impressive; most impressive. And, for those of you who, like me, couldn't figure out why Fox would choose December 25th as a release date, here is why:
This Christmas there will be no peace on Earth.
Alien vs Predator: Requiem
