Jessica Biel
Justice League of America, if anything, has helped answer some super speculation. Ryan Reynolds is the only man who can handle the Flash? Not so. Kate Beckinsale is the perfect option for Wonder Woman. Not exactly. Justice League of America has pulled a Watchmen by allowing other, respectable, options to pick up roles of major comicbook characters. Having seen Jessica Biel in Blade: Trinity, the girl can handle any superhero. Well, at least better than Jennifer Garner.
Jessica Biel Wonderful for Justice League of America?
Warner Bros. is currently looking to Jessica Biel to play Wonder Woman in Justice League of America. Nothing for sure yet, but at the rate Warner Bros. has been going on the project, the official announcement could come by tomorrow.
If Warner was to pick up Biel, the studio would be left with casting decisions for at least Batman, the Flash, Superman and Aquaman. If they could find a way to fit him, expect to see Peter Pan as well*.
*Please, mind the sarcasm.
Biel is currently getting naked for Powder Blue, which wraps in October. She will then move on to A Woman of No Importance, a film based on the play by Oscar Wilde. Once she completes that, only then will she find room in her to-do list to take time for Justice League.
Warner Bros. has been asked to confirm any likely announcements for Justice League, but they prefer to announce the entire cast when ready -- which is respectable.
Justice League, which is penned by Kieran and Michele Mulroney, could help ramp up a Wonder Woman spinoff, which has long been in development at the studio, with Joel Silver producing.
