Kevin James is looking to take on a trifecta of roles for the Happy Madison comedy, Mall Cop.

Kevin James is set to produce, write and star in Mall Cop for Columbia Pictures. Sony-based Happy Madison will produce alongside James, Jeff Sussman and Todd Garner.
Mall Cop centers on a mild-mannered security guard thrust into action when highly organized thieves take over his mall.
James will have help on the screenplay from Nick Bakay.
Mall Cop will reteam James with Adam Sandler, who he last worked alongside with in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. After a film about gay marriage, the two can't seem to keep their hands off one another.
Kevin James has been close to Sony, so it comes as no surprise that he is working with Happy Madison and Columbia Pictures once again.
