Sounds like somebody's ears were burning. While hanging out with family this weekend we began to discuss the least appreciated actors by the (mass) moviegoing population. On our list was William H. Macy, who will by trying his hand at a high school comedy through Plum Pictures.
William H. Macy for Bart Got a Room
Plum Pictures has picked up William H. Macy to topline Bart Got a Room, a film that will also star Cheryl Hines.
Written and directed by Brian Hecker, Bart Got a Room centers on a teen trying to find a prom date amid the tumult of his parents' failing marriage. Movie is set among the palm trees and retirees of Hollywood, Fla.
Steven Kaplan and Alia Shawkat co-star as the title character and his friend, respectively.
Bart Got a Room is one of many projects from Plum Pictures this year including Cache, and a new adaptation of The Bell Jar.
