It looks like Eddie Murphy has found a new BFF with director Brian Robbins. Now, I would normally rip on the ex-BFF, but I can't think of who'd that be for Murphy. Having worked with Robbins on both Norbit and Starship Dave -- no, not Pluto Nash -- Murphy is looking to team up once again for A Thousand Words.
Eddie Murphy for A Thousand Words
Eddie Murphy continues to ride the sin curve of fame. Just when it seems like we can make a wish on a falling star, Murphy pops up again with a plethora of new projects. The latest addition to his growing to-do list is the DreamWorks comedy A Thousand Words.
To be directed by Brian Robbins, A Thousand Words centers on a glib man who finds out that he has only 1,000 words left to speak before he dies.
Twisted, right?
The script will be written by scribe Steve Koren.
Like most of the recent productions, DreamWorks is hoping for a pre-strike start date.
Not that it will affect Murphy, who has Starship Dave, Fantasy Island and Nowhereland already deep in or finished with production.
