George Clooney
It looks like George Clooney's busted rib and road rash from his motorcycle accident is finally having an affect on his career. Falling behind on some of his previous commitments, Clooney has forced Universal's hand. The studio has announced they will push Leatherheads into next year to give Clooney his space.
Clooney Gives Leatherheads a Push
Leatherheads was originally set to hit theaters on December 7th but will arrive long after the New Year on April 4th.
Clooney is currently busy promoting Michael Clayton and filming the Coen brothers' comedy Burn After Reading, which also stars Ocean's 11 cohort Brad Pitt.
Just in case you have been out of the loop, Clooney broke his rib on September 21st while riding his motorcycle through New Jersey with girlfriend Sarah Larson. She wasn't as lucky as Clooney, and ended up hobbling away with a broken foot.
Leatherheads is Clooney's third directing vehicle after Good Night, and Good Luck and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
