Doug Liman has got an Untitled Moon Project set up with DreamWorks that will put Jake Gyllenhaal into orbit.

Gyllenhaal has been picked up to star in Untitled Moon Project, an actioner that revolves around a private expedition to the moon and the race for lunar colonization.
Films that require a journey to any object in space haven't typically fared that well at the box office -- see Sunshine and The Core -- but having Gyllenhaal onboard does give the project that little extra... boost.
The screenplay was originally penned by Liman and John Hamburg. I say 'originally', as Mark Bowden has since did a complete reconception of the story and will pen the updated screenplay.
Like every new project to hit the table, Untitled Moon Project will be placed on the fast track. How about starting with an official title?
Doug Liman has been seen behind the camera for Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Swingers and the upcoming futuristic Jumper, which 20th Century Fox will release next year.
