Brandon Routh for Dead of Night
According to CBR, Arclight has picked up Brandon Routh to star in Dead of Night, based on the best-selling horror comicbook series Dylan Dog. The film has been given a $35 million budget in hopes to get the project on the fast track.
David Ellis, the second unit director for a plethora of films including Clear and Present Danger, The Matrix Reloaded and Master and Commander, will be sitting in the director's chair for this one. You might have heard of a little film called Snakes on a Plane, which Ellis directed as well.
Dylan Dog follows the Scooby-Doo formula. While the investigator encounters monsters and the paranormal, it is usually human beings who are the worst criminals.
