Justice League
Warner Bros. isn't messing around anymore when it comes to finding some heroes for their upcoming adaptation of Justice League. A few names have been thrown around but, after building some excitement, each name has fallen though. WB has responded by throwing out the whole waiting game and holding a casting session this weekend plus today. So, who showed up?
Casting for Justice League
Warner Bros. has to fill the parts of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Martian Hunter, never mind some nonsuper characters. So far they have nothing, but that's why we have this marathon casting session that is expected to take a look at 35-40 young actors.
Some of those to be screentested include Adam Brody (The O.C.), Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Grindhouse), Michael Angarano (Sky High), Teresa Palmer (Wolf Creek), Max Thieriot (Jumper) and rapper Common
Half the team from NBC's Friday Night Lights made an appearance with Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter on site testing for parts.
Why such a young cast? Well, director Frank Miller is hoping to get actors who can grow into their roles over several movies. Sources claim that Miller isn't only interested in how each actor reads for his or her part, but how the entire group looks together.
