Here is a film the sparks some memories. Clint Eastwood's Changeling, a project that has been around almost as long as CanMag -- you know, long before Eastwood was ever involved -- is finally making some big steps. Though Angelina Jolie has been waiting to play the title character for some time, she has finally found some supporting cast.
Donovan, Feore and Malkovich for Changeling
Jeffrey Donovan, Colm Feore and John Malkovich have joined Jolie in Changeling, a drama that Clint Eastwood will direct.
Changeling follows a woman (Jolie) whose son goes missing in 1920s Los Angeles. The police return the wrong child and the woman is thrown into an insane asylum for disagreeing with the LAPD. When it seems that her real son has been murdered by a child serial killer and the child returned admits to fraud, she takes her case to the city council and takes down the mayor, the police chief and several corrupt officers, concurrently sparking changes in the insanity legislation.
Donovan will play a police captain, Feore the chief of police and Malkovich, listen to this, a reverend.
Also joining the cast are Jason Butler Harner, Amy Ryan and Michael Kelly. Harner plays a mechanic accused of murdering the woman's son.
Most the new cast additions come from television. Donovan plays a lead character in USA's Burn Notice while Feore will have a huge character arc in the upcoming season of 24.
Malkovich, on the other hand, can next be seen in CG form in the upcoming adaptation of Beowulf.
