Mind of Mencia Season 3
Comedy Central is releasing ‘Mind of Mencia Season 3: Uncensored’. The problem with Carlos Mencia isn’t that he copies other people’s bits (I am not making this up); it’s just that he’s not that funny. I have no other means of saying it. His humor works on the third grade level but when you try to compare it to the level with which ‘The Chappelle Show’ was at and it gets shown what the five fingers say to the face.
DVD Review: Mind of Mencia Season 3
I can’t tell if it’s a good sign or not but Comedy Central got this DVD almost immediately after the season ended. Something tells me that if any more time passes, we’ll forget that this show ever existed.
Oh Carlos, maybe I’m just a hard ass but I can’t lie about the fact that I didn’t really laugh all that much. Watching Carlos Mencia is like watching Weekend at Bernie’s again and realizing that it’s not as funny as you remembered it. The trouble is, I don’t think Carlos was ever that funny even though Seasons 1 and 2 were better than this one.
The Bonus features are mostly skits that were deleted to begin with. Hmmmm
