Whose Line Is It Anyway: Season 1, Volume 2 Whose Line Is It Anyway: Season 1, Volume 2
Whose Line Is It Anyway: Season One, Volume 2 follows the same pattern as the first release. They throw on a few unused games and a reel of outtakes, so if you like the show and you liked the first DVD, you know what you're getting.

DVD Review: Whose Line Is It Anyway: Season 1, Volume 2

The real revelation on this collection is that Stephen Colbert appeared as one of the improv contestants. They even have him play a fake newscaster in one of the games, so perhaps this is what started it all.

The extra games are just more of the same. There's nothing super edgy that would have them cut out, though a few butt jokes. The outtakes really give you a sense of being at the studio for the two hour plus taping as things go wrong with technical snafus, comedians crack up in profanity and even make recurring jokes about previous mistakes. And it only takes 10 minutes to get that impression, though I did not regret one moment of the taping I got to attend nine years ago.
