While The Flash and Wonder Woman have been the parts most mentioned during casting sessions for Justice League, somebody has finally given word on what might be going down (or up?) with the part of Superman.
Evans in League with Superman?
With Brandon Routh and Tom Welling confirmed to not be throwing on the cape and tights for Justice League, Garth over at DarkHorizons has learned of a rumor that suggests there is another young face available to fly, fight and run like hell from kryptonite.
"About three weeks ago some casting sessions took place in London's SoHo area for a movie called Justice League. I didn't know what it was until I saw the character list later. I would have figured it out earlier but with a movie like that one they don't let them actually read from the proper script until they're officially cast.
Anyway after going through a whole bunch of British actors, I heard today that one of them has been cast as Superman. Anyway, the guy everyone is talking about is called Rupert Evans."
I can't think of a single film I have seen Evans in since Hellboy. If he was to get the part, one would have to point out some career similarities between him and Brandon Routh.
