Medium - The Third Season
Medium is a drama based on the life of Allison Dubois, a self-proclaimed psychic who uses her abilities to aid the police. DuBois is a real woman but I’ll bet you Patricia Arquette’s version of her is much more interesting.
DVD Review: Medium - The Third Season
Patricia Arquette is back in her Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning role. For fans who followed the show since it’s first season, this is the best one yet. The actors have fallen nicely into their characters and seem to really enjoy playing them. The plotlines have become more complex and all the characters face increasing danger.
The extras on this disc were made with the “true-believer” fan in mind. The discs are loaded with cast and crew commentary (although it’s slightly heavy on the crew commentary – how many producers does this show have?).
Since any Arquette project always includes multiple members of the Arquette family, there’s a documentary following David Arquette directing an episode. There’s the usual Gag Reel, a Making Of… documentary, and a feature on how the storylines behind season 3 were developed.
Also Miguel Sandoval has a frightening obsession with racquet-based sports. Watch the “Acting is my Racquet” feature, you’ll understand.
