CSI Miami - The Fifth Season
CSI: Miami continues strongly in its fifth season. As much as I can’t stand the arrogant David Caruso, his portrayal of Horatio Caine still seems to resonate with viewers. The CBS series continues to rate in the top 15 shows on television.
DVD Review: CSI Miami - The Fifth Season
Paramount continually puts together great DVD sets of their TV shows. I wish the other studios would consider the fans as much as Paramount does. This is another quality DVD set for fans.
The special features on these discs will definitely satisfy the viewer’s tastes. There’s audio commentary on 5 of the episodes featuring some of the producers and actors. The behind-the-scenes features are something no fan will want to miss. My favorite was one about special effects makeup behind those gruesome murder scenes.
Another cool feature for fans is the inclusion of a CSI: Miami game for your PC. The game features the vocal talents of some of the actors and about 5 or 6 hours of gameplay. It’s not a difficult game to play but it’s great for those that enjoy casually trying to solve mysteries.
CSI: Miami is one of those shows you can watch at any time throughout the season and not feel lost in the story. The nice thing about this show though, is that it still attempts to develop a good season-long storyline as well.
With that in mind, this DVD set provides a great opportunity for all viewers. Casual viewers can catch up on the overall story and long-time fans can enjoy all the extras in the set.
CSI Miami - The Fifth Season hits shelves on October 30th.
