Having a top-secret film is always cool, but when you delay giving any new details for so long one can get burned out on the idea. Take Cloverfield / 1-18-08 for instance, the film gave us a cool teaser trailer back with Transformers and we have since heard nothing save little hints on could-they-be-related websites.
We decided at the end of summer to hold out on giving the film an official page here at CanMag until we got an official title, and it now looks like that day is coming.
Cloverfield Trailer/Title Coming
The good people at ComingSoon have been informed that Paramount plans to release the feature trailer for 1-18-08 with Beowulf. Since Beowulf is due to hit theaters on November 16th, that gives us just over two weeks before all -- wait, who am I kidding -- some more information will be revealed to us about the film. Most importantly, the trailer will be stamped with the film's official title.
Forget title, time to start guessing tag lines. I'm going to go with, "A Whale of a Good Time."
1-18-08/Cloverfield opens to theaters on 1-18-08.
