Sneaky, sneaky! Though I have yet to receive word/confirmation back from Paramount, I have been told that they are up to something for Beowulf.
Beowulf Playing Tonight
According to a scoop sent in this morning, Beowulf will be playing in select theaters tonight, November 1st. That's all we know. It is unknown what territories the film will be played in, and if this is strictly for secret, early screenings.
Either way, keep a lookout until we find out more.
While we wait for confirmation, enjoy some Beowulf posters (here, here) and TV spots.
Update: No exact confirmation just yet, but the good word is that Beowulf has been 'tracking well', which would diminish the need to have any more screenings -- save the press junkets.
