Just when I thought the spam emails claiming I need a bigger er, baby-maker were the worst, 'Shannon' writes in with a confirmation that a Grease remake has been given the greenlight for production.

Pfeiffer Confirms Grease Remake
News.au caught up with Stardust actress Michelle Pfeiffer and learned that she just can't get enough Grease. Having starred in Grease 2, Pfeiffer has been approached to play a role in an updated version of the 1978 hit. But, here's the problem, we're no longer in the '70s!
Michelle said: "It's a great idea and I hear they would like to get Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy, she would be good.
"I would love to play the school principal. She is fun and has some great put-down lines. I think I would like the part now that I have been asked."
Pfeiffer goes on to absolutely blast Grease 2, claiming that the film set her career back ten years. Sure, we'll give you the asterisk, but look where you are now.
Pfeiffer also explains that she can't watch her own movies. For the most part I disagree, but I will do all I can to avoid Grease if it does get remade; so there we're in agreement.
