After being betrayed by Lois in Superman Returns, James Marsden is going to take a chance on another leading lady for Richard Kelly's The Box. Mind the pun, but it seems that Marsden likes Cameron Diaz's Box, but, then again, can you blame him?

Marsden is in final negotiations to co-star with Cameron Diaz in the horror film.
In The Box, Marsden and Diaz will play an unhappily married couple who receive a box from a stranger who tells them that if they push a button on the box, they'll receive a hefty amount of cash -- and someone they don't know will die.
You might recognize the plot, as it is the adaptation of the Richard Matheson short story Button, Button. Matheson adapted the story for an episode of The Twilight Zone back in the '80s.
Marsden gets a bad rap. I don't know what it is, but I always hear the letter "B" while discussing the actor. I don't agree with this consensus, and am glad that he was able to take advantage of the popular X-Men franchise to finally make a big splash with audiences.
Marsden has since been seen in The Notebook, Superman Returns and Hairspray. The actor has a few films coming our way including Sex Drive, where he will have a cameo role, Enchanted, and 27 Dresses.
