The Golden Compass Character Posters - Part II
This (second) set of character posters is a little different. You will notice that one character is lacking daemon (explained below) and one poster serves as another feature version. If you haven't checked out the first set, be sure to do so.

So, why does Serafina not have a daemon in her poster? Unlike the rest of the population, witches have been trained to separate themselves from their daemons. While an ordinary character in this universe can't go farther than 10 or 20 yards from their daemon without risking death, witches can send their daemons far distances without any stress on their, what's the best word, connection.
Serafina Pekkala's daemon is Kaisa, a large grey goose.
