MGM continues to try new things with their trailers for the adaptation of Stephen King's The Mist.
Today marks the third trailer for the film and it takes an entirely different approach than the last two.
Third Stephen King's The Mist Trailer
Three-time Oscar®-nominee Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption) reunites with horror-master Stephen King to write and direct this chilling adaptation of the author's original short story. Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist.
They should title the third trailer for The Mist as "Marcia Gay Harden is Insane". Playing the part of religious zealot, she kicks things off with some omentastic dialogue.
The trailer then switches gears by introducing the mist, its captives and all the unseen terrors. The only problem is that outside might not be as frightening as in -- especially with God-fearing people seeking ritualistic answers.
With doom in sight, these people should all be trying to get laid.
