Michelle Pfeiffer continues to pick up gigs. With her jumping point somewhere between Hairspray and Stardust, the actress is now ready to try an adaptation with Ashton Kutcher.

Clint at Moviehole reports that Michelle Pfeiffer has been cast for Personal Effects, a film to be written and directed by David Hollander. Personal Effects tells the story of two strangers, Linda and Walter, who have both lost family members to murder. Their court appearances bring them together.
Linda has a deaf son, who’s become increasingly troubled since his dad was murdered, but it’s Walter who helps him out – teaching him how to wrestle, and therefore funneling his anger through sport.
As of right now, it looks like Ashton Kutcher is up for the role of Walter.
Kutcher with Pfeiffer? He sure does have a thing for older ladies.
