Man, we have got to find ourselves another still for Valkyrie to use. For those of you who, like us, are getting burned out on the one above, hopefully UA's next update on the film could be another batch of stills. Not that we're complaining about a new trailer, however.
ValkyrieTrailer
The first trailer for Valkyrie starts off with an oath that I am assuming Nazi officers must agree to.
I swear by God this sacred oath: That I shall render unconditional obedience to Adolf Hitler, the Fuhrer of the German Reich.
In comes Cruise's Col. Claus von Stauffenberg with narration from Branagh's Henning von Tresckow. By the first half of the trailer the message is clear. Assassinate Adolf to prove to the world that not all of Germany is like him. If no action is taken, it will always be Hitler's Germany.
Action is inevitable. Not only must Hitler go, but his upper chain of command. Valkyrie, a backup plan created by Hitler, will be used against him.
I have been waiting to see how Valkyrie is a thriller, and the trailer shows just that. Bravo.
