Futurama - Bender's Big Score
Fans of Futurama will just be happy to see Fry, Bender, Leila and the whole gang back on screen. They will get the added bonuses of celebrity cameos in the first DVD movie, Bender’s Big Score. Producer David X. Cohen bragged about the impressive list.

“We've got Al Gore, Coolio who will not only be appearing but rapping, not just rapping but rapping with Mark Hammill who will be singing,” said Cohen. “We have Sarah Silverman and Tom Kenney the voice of Spongebob so a lot of guest stars in this DVD.”
The DVD film will be split into four episodes for TV broadcast. “Basically what these are going to be is they're going to be epic four parters. So we're going to do a 'Previously on Futurama' at the beginning of the second, third, fourth part and it's going to be an epic four part thing. We'll give you just enough to catch up if you miss the previous part. They will mostly stand on their own but the things you need to know, we're going to do a Hill Street Blues 'Previously on Futurama' and tell you what you need to know. So it will all work out in the end.”
While Bender’s Big Score leaves audiences hanging, the second film will pick up and resolve the cliffhanger. “This film ends in a somewhat of a cliffhanger and in such a way that you might have thought we were going to follow up under just say, 'yeah, whatever.' We are going to follow up on it in the second movie so rest assured, anyone who feels they want to know more will get to know more in movie 2.”
After the run of four DVD movies, converted into 16 TV episodes, Cohen has hopes for more Futurama shows and perhaps a big screen movie. “That's my secret hope. So secret that I tell everyone every day that it's my secret hope. It just made sense to me. Of these do well, that's obvious in the wake of the success of The Simpsons Movie and how cheap we are compared to the writers on The Simpsons. We could do a movie that I think would do very well for the Fox corporation should the strike ever end.’
