Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
If there were ever a movie that needed less story, it's Pirates of the Caribbean: At Wolrds End. So the fact that the DVD has even more scenes that were deleted from the nearly three hour film is baffling.
DVD Review: Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Well, there are only two. "I Like Riddles" is the two sidekicks reinforcing the danger they are about to enter. Redundant, no loss there. "Two Captains, One Ship" is a fun physical slapstick scene between Jack and Barbosa, the sort of levity that might have broken up some of the boring story.
So, they had the foresight to trim these bits, but they thought Calypso turning into a giant and then disintegrating was integral. Hmm.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End arrives on DVD December 4th.
