Took them long enough. The first poster for In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale -- stop, let me just point out how unnecessarily long this title is; okay, continue -- arrived June 19th... 2006. With a finalized distributor, the film is expected to hit theaters this January.

Dungeon Siege follows the hard life of a lowly farmer to a mighty mission to save his wife and child. An unspeakably evil army is rampaging across the land, destroying everything in its path and focusing on even conquering the mighty Castle Ehb, and vanquishing the King himself. This evil army threatens an otherwise ideal world of peace.
It turns out that this farmer, Jason Statham, can kick ass thanks to the inherited skill of Martial Arts. While the film looks like its right up Uwe Boll's alley, the posters are at least legit. If the film is even just okay I will be impressed.
