A new Knight Rider means a new KITT. While I would have loved to have the car be a 2008 BMW M3 -- yeah, I know it doesn't exactly fit the profile -- it looks like NBC is feeling Ford.
The New Kitt: A Ford Shelby GT
Jalopnik has posted the first (confirmed) images of KITT. The car is a 550 HP Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang. I was actually in the market for a Shelby a while back, but ended up with an M3; hence why I thought it would have been cool if that became the car of choice. Besides, does Ford have SMG or 'Launch Control'? I don't think so.
