It looks like Edward Norton is going to pull a Primal Fear and remind us just what a great actor he is. Teaming up with director Tim Blake Nelson, Norton will take on two title roles in Leaves of the Grass.
Edward Norton for Leaves of the Grass
In Leaves of the Grass, Norton has been cast to play identical twins, one an Ivy League classics professor and the other a hedonistic pot-smoking career criminal. Big difference, I know.
Nelson wrote the script for Leaves of Grass with Norton in mind. The duo recently starred together in The Incredible Hulk and have been anxious to get together again for this.
Norton's amped on the challenge of playing twins that are so different from one another.
"The challenge of playing twins for an actor is very special, and I was very flattered that Tim sent Leaves of Grass to me," Norton said. "I liked it so much, and felt so strongly that it was a film Tim understood to his core, that I took it to my partners and suggested we produce it. This is exactly the kind of personal filmmaking that we set out to support."
Edward Norton will begin working on Leaves of Grass once production on State of Play wraps. He can next be seen in New Line's Pride and Glory this upcoming March.
