Funny Games
I have been geeked on Funny Games ever since its first energetic trailer. Everything looked great and I couldn't help but grin at all the words WIP used to describe the film. Nicely done. But the film is called Funny Games, so Warner figured they might as well give us some idea on what games our family in trouble will be playing.
Funny Games Goes Red
In this provocative and brutal thriller from director Michael Haneke, a vacationing family gets an unexpected visit from two deeply disturbed young men. Their idyllic holiday turns nightmarish as they are subjected to unimaginable terrors and struggle to stay alive.
A red band trailer has surfaced for Funny Games and, though short, it allows just enough time to give us our basic introduction of some of the games that are made up by our two villains played by Michael Pitt and Brady Corbet.
I had hoped for a little more gore, but the quick shot of somebody getting blown away by shotgun will have to suffice.
