To think that only a month ago we knew oh so little about Cloverfield. With the film's release just over a month out, the updates are coming in by the day.
Cloverfield Running Time and Slusho
The good people at ShockTillYouDrop have discovered that Cloverfield will not have the most epic of running times. Considering that the film has the whole shot with a handheld video camera look, a shorter running time might be a good idea.
That said, when it comes to Matt Reeves' "destructo-vérité" Cloverfield, are we going to get an epic-length account of New York City's annihilation? Nada. Sources tell Shock, Reeves and company have cobbled together a lean 'n mean 90-minute tale.
Just enough time to bring the fam to the theater for a winter afternoon matinee and be out in time for an Outback Steakhouse dinner.
The Japanese Slusho site has been updated with a fictional commercial that actually appeared on television. Don't get too excited yet, as the commercial is fu*@in crazy. What goes through Abrams mind, I'll never know. Watch it there in quicktime or above in flash.
