Though Paramount didn't have a rating for Cloverfield last week during their 2008 preview, it looks like the MPAA has finally made up their minds.

Cloverfield PG-13

'Bradley' has alerted us to an updated rating for Cloverfield as announced by the film's official site.

Cloverfield is rated PG-13 for violence, terror and disturbing images. I originally thought with all the secrecy the film would go 'R', but PG-13 is much, much safer for a film of this type.

Cloverfield opens to theaters on 1-18-08.
