Brad Pitt for Tree of Life
Brad Pitt is in talks to co-star alongside Sean Penn in Tree of Life, a drama that Terrence Malick will direct off a script he wrote.
Pitt's schedule opened up when he bailed on State of Play.
Though Penn is booked to play the title character in the Gus Van Sant-directed Harvey Milk, he's still expected to play a supporting role in Tree of Life.
While Pitt was offered $20 million against gross to star in State of Play, it is expected that the actor will not take any money upfront for Life.
