Code Entertainment has picked up Rhona Mitra to star in the indie thriller The Boy in the Box.

Mitra will join Josh Lucas and Jon Hamm in The Boy in the Box. The thriller tells the story about a small-town police chief (Hamm) determined to discover the truth behind the mummified remains of a boy who was murdered a half-century earlier.
Mitra plays the police chief's wife, who is trying to move on after the disappearance of their own son eight years earlier. Lucas plays the father of the murdered boy.
Anders Anderson will direct off a screenplay by Glenn Taranto.
James Van Der Beek, Marcus Thomas, Jimmy Bennett and Jessica Chastain have also been cast.
Mitra will next appear in Doomsday and is about to begin filming Underworld: Rise of the Lycans for Sony Screen Gems.
